![]() ![]() After the battle, Eragon is sent to the dwarves election in the Beor mountains. Once there, Murtagh attacks with about three hundred of almost impossible to kill soldiers. ![]() Arya meets up with Eragon as he makes his way back to the Varden. After the skirmish, Eragon has to decide what to do with Sloan so stays and sends the others back to the Varden. Eragon and Roran head to Helgrind to save Katrina from the Ra’zac. SPOILERS: This story begins a few days after Eldest ends. The final chapter in the audiobook is a question and answer between Christopher Paolini and his editor, but to be honest I wasn’t interested in that so am moving on to Inheritance. ![]() The music is still there and annoying as the others but thankfully it is only a little at the start and end. ![]() I really do like him as a voice actor for this series, though I still don’t think Saphira‘s voice isn’t quite right. The performance of Gerard is as good as the last books. I love that we finally have a little of Saphira’s viewpoint as well - her names for everything make you chuckle and keep a little light in what could be a very serious book. The book follows Eragon as he gains more responsibility, it also follows his cousin Roran in his new role in the Varden army. The pace is faster than Eldest, which I’m grateful for. These books need to be read in order to understand the storyline. Brisingr is the third book in the inheritance cycle. ![]()
